A DAY IN THE LIFE

8:15 am-8:30 am Arrive at School

• The cultivation of your child's independence starts by empowering them to enter school independently, put their belongings away in their cubby, wash their hands, and make a work choice.

8:30 am-11:15 am Morning Work Cycle 

• Your child chooses work, enjoys a snack, and receives new lessons from the teacher. 

11:15am-12:00pm Outdoor Play Time

12:00 pm-1:00 pm Lunch Time, Noon dismissal for half-day students

1:00 pm-2:00 pm Nap Time or Kindergarten Study Hour

2:00pm-3:15pm Afternoon Work Cycle
 

Students enjoy a 2 ½ to 3-hour morning work cycle. Teachers give small group and individual lessons throughout this time while the other children work with materials they have already had a lesson.
